Son Of Cienfuegos II.Iby ~chilouX

This is a rejob, featuring new technic's of my postwork.

I hope u enjoy the portrait as much as i did shot it!

This is the original text to the first posted portrait:

After having shot the first Son Of Cienfuegos
I continued down this beautiful and old street - with extremly many beautiful Cubans, i saw this poor man sitting next to an "Dollar" shop.. I will tell you what a Dollar shop is further down.. its Horrible..
I asked him polite if i could take his picture '

or favor' .. And on my way over to him he moved his hands together and begged me for help.. I could se he was not just as poor as all other Cubans, but even more.. I shot him quickly when i couldent stand just looking at his sorrows through my lens. I gave him money for 2 days meals and continued ahead for the next Cuban Portrait..

A Dollar shop:
This is those kind of shops, only aimed for extremly wealthy Cubans, and Tourist.. This is a shop where the only currency iis "Pesos convertible" .. with is pretty much the same as a dollar.. Pesos convertible is tourist money, and not Cuban - so the Cubans are left to dream about all the goods from Cream to DvD's (Imported for tourists) .. They can dream from the window and watch all the rich suckers buy stuff, they would be 10 years of work to collect money fore..
Thats a Dollar shop..

I threw this photo in the "Canon mission" contest and won the portriat category of Denmark with it. I wish i knew this man's address so i could send him a photo and some of the prize money i've won. It's after all his face and sorrows i've won with! .. a big applause to him!

It have come to my attention that my old retouch (this time the saturation) have been different from my wish - due a old monitor i made it on. This time i've seen the picture on the same type of monitor as everyone els basicly and saw that it lacked the colors i "thought" i've made it with - So here are the final verison of "Son of Cienfuegos" ..

I really hope you enjoy it as it is now.
